The Hero Photo or Image will represent your event in all marketing, communications and publicity. Please ensure the quality and resolution are as high as possible. Images should not be watermarked and we prefer them to be without writing for accessibility.

The following are the dimensions we require: pixel size: 1280 x 600; resolution: 300dpi; file type: PNG; min. file size: 2mb.

Label all images like so: Event name_PhotographerOrArtistCredit.

Provide links to any video or audio clips that we can use to promote your event. Include creator credits. We accept YouTube, Vimeo or Dropbox links. The preferred audio format is WAV, and video files should be over 10mb and ideally no longer than 20-30 seconds. Some video ideas: a short interview with your event's lead artist or curator; a sneak peak of the show; a behind-the-scenes clip.

Data and collection notice

The collection and handling of personal information is in accordance with Darebin Council's Privacy Policy. You can also collect the policy in person from Council's Customer Service Centres. Data Collection notice Darebin City Council (“Council”) collects, holds and manages personal information under the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic) (“PDP Act”) and health information under the Health Records Act 2001 (“HR Act”). Your health information and personal details are collected so that the Council can book you into and provide you with arts and cultural services, including performances, exhibitions, public programs, educational materials and printed collateral. The Creative Culture and Events Department may use your feedback to help them continue to improve their services and to assist use in future service delivery planning. Your information could be used for statistical and reporting purposes, and all information will be de-identified. We may share this information with other arts organisations, or Council, State or Federal funding bodies. Also, with the Creative Culture and Events team or other areas of Council for the purposes of selection for presentation, and our internal review of our client’s overall satisfaction. The Council may provide personal information to its agents, such as its accountants or lawyers. At times, the Council may be legally required to disclose personal information, for instance to the police or courts, The Council’s staff and contractors may access health information and personal information provided by you through the survey, but only to the extent necessary to gather information for the project about which you were offering your views, or so as to provide services to the Council itself. The Council’s contractors may be service providers external to the Council such as OpenForms, an online software tool. You can read the OpenForms Privacy Policy at https://granicus.com/privacy-policy/. It is possible any information you provide to Council in this survey may be held outside Victoria, please take this into account in your decision to provide answers in this Survey. If you choose to participate in this survey, you consent to the transfer and storage of the information provided outside of Victoria. If you choose not to provide your personal information, health information and/or art business information, we will be unable to consider your application for engagement with the Creative Culture and Events Department of City of Darebin.
