Autumn 2022: That's a Wrap

That's a wrap! FUSE Autumn 2022 ended on Sunday with Out of the Park Picnic, and what a way to go out. Kylie and Belove sang their way to the stars, DJ Maya Vice rocked the park, and Kwame Tosuma, African Star Dance, Al-Salam Dancers for Peace, Jungle City Projects and O'Ziriguidum Samba School shook the earth with rapturous drumming and dancing.

Thank you to: all our wonderful artists; to Neda Rahmani, who skillfully curated this fab lineup; to all at MAV, who co-presented the event with FUSE; to Queen Acknowledgements, who MCed with her usual flair; to Uncle Bill Nicholson for his Welcome to Country; to Mikey Webb, Auslan interpreter extraordinaire; to Neisha, for her fabulous site art; to our food trucks, Moon Rabbit on the Hop, Little Box Brownies and Swaggys Mobile Kitchen; and to Mayor Lina Messina and all the Darebin councillors and local MPs who have offered ongoing support. Special thanks also to 3KND, our amazing media partners, for their live broadcast on the day and all-round support throughout the festival.

And thank you to you--our audiences and supporters--for helping to make this a festival to remember.

FUSE will do it all again in September, for our Spring 2022 version, but we won't be gone in the meantime. We'll be posting highlights from Autumn 2022, and also teasers and updates about the next FUSE to come.

Enjoy Wild Hardt's photos from Sunday, and we'll see you soon.
