FUSE Spring 2020 festival opens on the 1st September

Hello FUSErs',

We have an exciting announcement; the FUSE Spring 2020 festival will open on the 1st of September with an amazing array of digital events, neighborhood activations and a rolling program you can enjoy over the next 3 months.

We had hoped to share a sneak peak into our program by now, but unfortunately, with the recent announcement of Stage 4 restrictions coming into effect until September 13, the FUSE team has been reassessing what aspects of the Festival can and can’t be delivered safely within the new parameters. So, we have delayed any announcements until we are confident that each element of the program can be developed, delivered and experienced without undermining the public safety efforts of existing restrictions.

But don't fret, the festival we are planning is outstanding. We have something for lovers of music, visual art, performance, workshops, heritage architecture, literature and immersive installations. We have participatory experiences for families and fun, bright, exciting art to beautify the neighbourhood. We have a range of pop up projects all across Darebin, so visit us again soon and check it out!

We believe that art is for everyone. We celebrate participation from all ages, genders, ethnicity, sexuality and ability. No matter who you are, you’re bound to find something or someone that speaks to you, moves you or connects you. You might even uncover something unexpected right on your doorstep.

FUSE Spring festival runs from the 1 September - 29 November 2020.
