Competition Winner Announcement

Announcement of Winners - Meet the Makers Competition (POST EVENT)

We're thrilled to announce the winners of our Meet the Makers Picnic competition, which showcased Darebin’s finest homemade beer, wine, and produce. Before we delve into the results, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this event.

First and foremost, a massive thank you to our esteemed business supporters from Akimbo Bread, Costante Imports, Jamsheed Wines, and La Sirène Brewing for their support. These Darebin community members not only gave generous contributions to the prize pool, but it was their tricky job to judge the entries and announce the winners of each category.

To all who joined us at heritage Bundoora Homestead Arts Centre, thank you for immersing yourselves in a world of creativity, community, and culinary delights. The atmosphere was delightful as we wandered through the Makers Showcase, sampling homemade wines, beers, and breads crafted with passion and dedication by our talented makers against the backdrop of incredible live music featuring Bumpy, Teymori, Wax’o Paradiso & DJ JNETT.
