Australia’s finest female vocalists and songwriters unite to present an all-original concert at Northcote Town Hall
Join Women of Soul, Australia’s premier collective of soulful female artists, for a powerful evening of music and entertainment at Northcote Town Hall.
Reuniting for their first live event since the pandemic, vocalists Nkechi Anele, Chelsea Wilson, Stella Angelico, Shannen Wick, Carla Troiano and Audrey Powne premiere new original compositions and Women of Soul favourites for Fuse Festival . Backed by their incredible house band featuring Mon Boggia on keys (Deep Street Soul), Alexandra Roper on drums (SPIRE ensemble), Ann Metry on bass (Tina Arena), Kathleen Halloran on guitar (Kate Ceberano) and Cheryl Durongpisitkul on saxophone (Koi Kingdom).
Since 2011 Women of Soul have presented live original music written and performed by female artists from across Australia including Clairy Browne, Kylie Auldist, Mo’ Ju, Shirley Davis, Rita Satch, Thando, Raleigh Williams (Cookin' on 3 Burners), Randa and the Soul Kingdom, Tara Lynch (The Transatlantics), Talei Wolfgramm, Candice Monique, Alphamama, May Johnston, Milan Ring and many more. Their self titled album was nominated for Best Soul/R’n'B Album at The Age Music Victoria Awards.

Linda Catalano is an Independent Producer with Australian and international experience as a programmer, manager and performer. She is currently Creative Director/Executive Producer at Quiet Riot. Quiet Riot is an independent production house built on the principles of diversity and inclusion.They are producers, agents, programmers, consultants, managers, creators, dreamers and doers. Linda has Produced numerous local and international tours throughout the UK, Europe and Australia with venues and festivals including Glastonbury, Sziget, Southbank Centre London, Soho Theatre London, Sydney Opera House and Arts Centre Melbourne to name a few.
|CHELSEA WILSON, HOUSE OF VALERIE JOAN - WOMEN OF SOUL ARTISTIC DIRECTOR||
Chelsea Wilson is a Melbourne based vocalist, songwriter, broadcaster and producer. Her debut album “I Hope You’ll Be Very Unhappy Without Me” was lauded #2 Album of the Year on ABC Radio National and nominated for Best Soul Album at The Age Music Victoria Awards. An internationally acclaimed live performer she headlined the Arts Centre Melbourne stage at the Australasian World Music Expo; and made her UK debut at Glastonbury Festival 2015, subsequently selling out the famous London Jazz Café. A graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music she has performed in Japan; the UAE; the USA; France; Spain; Great Britain; Indonesia and Thailand. She has supported acts including Macy Gray, Tina Arena and Booker T. Her follow up album "Chasing Gold" was shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize. Behind the scenes she is Artistic Director of the Women of Soul Collective, Board Director of Music Victoria and producer at the Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts.
