Darebin City Brass presents this afternoon festival of community bands, showcasing musical talent from across Darebin and further afield
Youth bands and senior championship winning bands alike will take to the stage at this festival of live community music featuring performances by ensembles from across Darebin and further afield. All kinds of familiar tunes and new music will be showcased by 6 different bands throughout the afternoon, including performances by the Preston Band, Northern Brass, Northcote High School, Western Brass and and Darebin Youth Band. Come and enjoy this unique listening opportunity and discover the hidden talents in Darebin's community music scene.

Darebin City Brass is a community music organisation based in Preston that has been providing an artistic outlet and serving the Darebin community for close to 100 years. Three main ensembles make up the organisation and cater for all levels of musical and life experience, from fresh-faced learners to seasoned professionals.
